The recent earthquake in the east of Turkey and Syria has profoundly impacted the region and many of us with close ties to it. As news of the impact of the disaster spreads, we're left with a sense of helplessness, struggling to come to terms with the extent of the damage and devastation. The heartbreaking images of homes and livelihoods destroyed, coupled with the immense loss of life, leaves a lasting impact on so many of us. It's difficult to imagine the pain and suffering the survivors are enduring, and our hearts go out to them during this challenging time. We extend our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of those affected by the earthquake and pledge to contribute where we can.
Getting ready to set sail
At Sailing Chef, we are thrilled and eagerly preparing for the rapidly nearing 2023 Blue Cruise season. Our team is working diligently to ensure everything is set and ready for our first guests on April 15th.
Thanks to the mild winter weather, we have been able to make significant progress in maintaining and upgrading our gulets, ensuring our guests can enjoy a voyage of comfort and luxury. Our team has been busy with various tasks, including painting the vessels, installing new fire extinguishers, upgrading our solar power system, and improving the onboard pumps.

We are delighted to welcome back MÜJDAT COŞKUN as our captain for the Sailing Chef I Gulet. His ten years of experience working alongside Caner have made them an unbeatable team, ensuring our guests an unforgettable experience. We are confident that sailing with them will be an absolute pleasure!
The 2023 Blue Cruise Season

Sailing Chef II availability
Our Sailing Chef II Gulet is fully booked between July 15th and September 30th, except for two available dates: July 12th and August 19th. So, if you're interested in sailing this summer, we encourage you to act quickly and get in touch with us.
If you have the flexibility to sail in the gorgeous pre- and post-summer seasons. In that case, we have availability for spring and October sailings.

Cross-border sailing update
Some guests wanted to explore beyond the fantastic Turkish Riviera and the Datca Peninsula after the pandemic when border passages were closed. Although passenger gulets have yet to be permitted to sail from Turkey to Greece for the 2023 season, we are closely monitoring the situation. We hope to sail to the Greek island of Symi later in the season. Having said this, the Turkish and Greek governments have yet to publish new regulations, which leaves gulet cruise operators with little time to comply once they appear. So, at this stage, we can't say with certainty that we'll be able to sail cross-border this season.
Fortunately, the unique blue cruise experience with Sailing Chef is not dependent on the ability to sail cross-border. We have plenty of exciting destinations and itineraries on the Turkish side of the border that are simply spectacular.
Looking ahead to 2024
Furthermore, we understand that some guests are already planning their 2024 blue cruise sailing trips. While we cannot provide exact pricing due to high inflation and exchange rates, we are dedicated to providing high-quality Blue Cruises at attractive rates.
We expect to publish our 2024 prices during the summer once the presidential elections are behind us. We are pleased to have a solution for those who wish to secure their preferred week(s) without risk. We kindly ask for a small, fully refundable deposit, after which we'll happily hold your week until we are able to announce our 2024 prices..
Then, following the publication of our 2024 prices, you can confirm your option. If you decide not to sail with us in 2024, we'll refund your deposit in full.
So, we are excited to receive all our guests on board from April onward. We can't wait to provide you with the insider experience to Blue Cruising and spoil you with Sailing Chef care.
